About this product

A real loofah, grown on a vine, not molded from plastic.

Loofah is the dried fruit of the luffa plant, a gourd. Once the flesh is gone, the fibrous skeleton that remains is a firm, open sponge that softens in water and gives an even, invigorating scrub. It lifts dead skin, boosts circulation and rinses clean. This is a large oval piece, big enough for the whole body. Unlike the plastic mesh poufs it replaces, it dries fast and composts when it wears out.

Who this is for

  • Rough, bumpy skin on the backs of arms and legs
  • You want a firmer scrub than a washcloth gives
  • You are replacing the plastic pouf that never fully dries
  • Anyone who likes a real exfoliation before moisturizing

How to use

  • Wet it to soften, add soap, scrub in circles, rinse well
  • Squeeze out and hang to dry between uses. Replace every month or two. Compost when done
  • Large oval, 100% natural loofah
