Why the pantry is where it matters most. The oil you cook in touches nearly every meal you make, which makes it the single highest-leverage swap in a kitchen. Industrial seed oils — canola, soybean, corn, sunflower, safflower, grapeseed — are solvent-extracted, deodorized, and fragile under heat. Not one of them is on this shelf, and cold-pressed versions don't get a pass either. What you'll find instead is olive oil pressed in this valley, avocado oil, coconut oil, and tallow.

Same logic on the rest of it. Raw honey still has its pollen and enzymes because it was never heat-filtered to look pretty in a bottle. Stone-milled flour keeps the germ, which is where the flavor and most of the nutrition live — and it's why it should be stored cool and used sooner. Real salt is a mineral, not a chemical. No refined sugar, no HFCS, no artificial sweeteners, no "natural flavors."
