A konjac face sponge with bamboo charcoal, for oily and breakout-prone skin.

Konjac is a plant root that swells into a soft, springy sponge in warm water and cleanses with very light exfoliation. The Charcoal version has bamboo charcoal worked through the fiber. Charcoal is traditionally used for oily and congested skin because it is absorbent and helps lift excess oil out of pores, and it makes the sponge a little more thorough without being harsh. Works with water alone or a small amount of cleanser. Composts when it wears out.

How to use

• Soak in warm water until soft, massage the face in circles, rinse
• Squeeze out, hang to dry between uses. Replace every 4 to 6 weeks. Compost when done
