Plastic measuring spoons stain, crack and go cloudy. Metal ones clang and rust at the rivet. These are cut from solid bamboo, light, quiet and hard enough to scrape level against the rim of a bag of flour. Bamboo does not take on flavors, so the same spoon can measure cinnamon one day and garlic powder the next after a quick wash.

They are just as useful outside the kitchen: for bath salts, clay masks, loose tea or a scoop of collagen powder.
