Butte Copper Company — Copper Measuring Cups (Shiny)

A nested set of copper dry measures, polished bright, in the standard kitchen sizes. They stack into each other for storage.

100% pure copper, solid all the way through. We asked Butte Copper Company directly and they confirmed it: no stainless core, no plating, no coating. That is worth saying because most so-called copper kitchenware is copper-plated stainless steel. It photographs the same, it wears through at the edges, and it never changes color. These change color. The shine dulls toward a warm brown with use, and that patina is the proof the metal is real.

Hand wash only. Never the dishwasher: detergent and heat leave copper blotchy, and that is hard to undo. Half a lemon dipped in salt restores the shine in a minute. Letting them darken is equally fine.

Use them for dry goods. Flour, sugar, salt, spices, all perfect. Don't leave vinegar or citrus standing in them. Measure and pour, don't park it.

Copper is naturally antimicrobial, which is one reason hospitals use copper door handles.
