Resting drinking water in copper overnight is an Ayurvedic practice thousands of years old; the water is called tamra jal. Copper is also naturally antimicrobial, which is why hospitals fit copper door handles. We make no health claims for the set beyond that it is copper all the way through and built to last for years.

How to use

Rinse before first use. Plain water only; no juice, citrus or carbonated drinks, which react with copper. Hand wash, never the dishwasher. When the inside darkens, scrub with salt and half a lemon and rinse. The outside develops a natural patina over time.
