Crème Veloutée

The most expensive thing we make, and the one that earns it: a velvet-rich tallow cream carrying prickly pear and rosehip seed oils, finished with frankincense, helichrysum and myrrh.

Crème Veloutée is built on a high concentration of grass-fed suet tallow, which mirrors the lipids in human skin and absorbs accordingly. Into that base go two of the most nutrient-dense seed oils in skincare, neither of them cheap: prickly pear seed oil, rich in vitamin E and linoleic acid, and rosehip seed oil, valued for its natural vitamin A and essential fatty acids. Jojoba, olive-derived squalane and camellia seed give it the glide; unrefined shea adds cushion. Cera Bellina, a structured botanical wax, gives it the texture the name refers to: soft, cushiony, closer to a whipped ganache than a cream.

How to use

A pea-sized amount for the whole face. Warm between fingertips and press into clean, damp skin, morning or night. Use on the neck and backs of the hands too.
