About this product

Raw sage honey with a piece of the comb inside the jar.

A jar of Fantozzi's raw, USA Grade A sage honey with a real chunk of honeycomb suspended in it. The comb is fully edible and gives every spoonful a little texture and a little more of what the hive makes: wax, pollen, propolis and enzymes that never see heat or a filter.

Sage honey is light and herbal with a clean finish, and it is slow to crystallize, so this jar stays pourable. Raw honey has been used for centuries as a food and a traditional soother for sore throats and coughs, and eating it with the comb is the most unprocessed way to have it.

Who this is for

  • You want honeycomb but also want honey you can pour
  • You build cheese boards and want something that looks the part
  • You are buying a gift that says California
  • You want honey in its least-processed form

How to use

Spoon honey and comb onto cheese, toast, yogurt or oatmeal. The wax can be chewed and swallowed or set aside. Store at room temperature. Not for children under one year.

Thomas Fantozzi grew up on a family farm, started two hives in 2017 after a beekeeping class at Cal Poly, and now runs hundreds of hives out of Patterson, right here in the Central Valley.
