About this product

The dark, rich one, and the local favorite for allergy season.

Raw wildflower honey from Fantozzi's Central Valley hives, gathered from a wide range of blossoms including alfalfa, melon and pumpkin from the farms around Patterson. Darker honeys like this carry more minerals and antioxidants than light ones, and a fuller, richer sweetness that stands up on toast, biscuits and oatmeal.

Because it is made from the plants growing right here, this is the honey people reach for when the valley pollen count climbs. Fantozzi hand-extracts at low temperature and bottles in small batches, never heating or ultra-filtering, so the local pollen, enzymes and antioxidants stay in the jar. Raw honey has been used for centuries as a food and a traditional soother for sore throats and coughs.
