The body-and-all-weather companion to our Elite Radiance+ serums. Same hero antioxidant — astaxanthin, the carotenoid from marine algae that gives salmon its color — in a dense grass-fed tallow, shea and jojoba balm you can put on a face, a neck, or a pair of cracked hands. Apply before you go out and again when you come in. Summer it's sun and heat; winter it's wind, cold and dry air. Same jar.

The red-gold color is the carotenoids, not a dye.

What it does

• Antioxidant care. Astaxanthin, sea buckthorn, CoQ10 and vitamin E form a network that supports skin's natural defenses against the oxidative stress sun, wind and dry air cause — and recycle each other so the effect lasts.
• Replenishes moisture. Tallow's fatty-acid profile mirrors your own skin oil; shea and jojoba lock it in. No water, so nothing evaporates.
• Softens and soothes. Bisabolol (from chamomile) and sea buckthorn's omega-7 calm hot, flushed, wind-stung skin.
• Repair and firmness. Bakuchiol delivers retinol-like renewal with no photosensitivity, so it's safe for a balm used in daylight.
• Stays put. A waterless balm resists sweat, wind and washing better than any lotion or gel. One application covers a shift.

How to use

Before exposure: a pea-sized amount on face, neck, ears and backs of hands 10 minutes before heading out. Sunscreen on top if you're using one.
After: rinse off sweat and dust, apply a heavier layer to anything tight, warm or chapped. Reapply at night.
Daily: works as an everyday face and hand balm for weathered skin.
