Living broccoli microgreens, cut fresh. Mild, faintly peppery, and about as far from a plastic clamshell of week-old salad as produce gets.

Microgreens are harvested days after germination, when the young plant is at its most concentrated. Studies on broccoli microgreens in particular have found them several times richer in certain vitamins and plant compounds than the mature vegetable, gram for gram. The shelf life is measured in days, not weeks, which is why they show up here and not in most grocery stores.
