Maui Nui sticks are made from wild-harvested Axis deer, fermented three days and smoked over real wood, the way a meat stick was made before shortcuts. The deer are invasive on Maui, harvested at night in the field with no stress and no feedlot, and processed on a mobile USDA unit within the hour. No nitrates or nitrites added except those naturally in celery.

The Peppered stick is the bold, savory one: lean venison with a generous hit of black pepper and no sugar at all. Venison is naturally leaner than beef and rich in iron, zinc and B12.
