About this product

Small-batch Italian pasta sauces from Mill Valley Pasta Co., made in Marin County with California tomatoes and good olive oil, and no preservatives.

Mill Valley Pasta Co. is best known for its bronze-cut artisan pasta, and their sauces are made with the same care: short ingredient lists, slow cooking, and real Italian recipes. Pair any jar with one of their pastas on our shelf for a restaurant-quality dinner in the time it takes to boil water.

Pick your sauce

  • Sciue-Sciue: Italian for "quick-quick." Just California tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, shaved garlic and salt. Garlicky, simple and endlessly useful. Vegan.
  • Spicy Sciue-Sciue: the same garlicky sauce with housemade organic crushed red chili for heat. Vegan.
  • Spicy Pomodoro Robusto: a bold, spicy tomato sauce with body.
  • Sungold Pomodoro: bright, sweet tomato sauce made with Sungold cherry tomatoes.
  • Sugo alla Norma: Sicilian-style tomato sauce with slow-cooked fried eggplant, sweet shallots and Sicilian oregano. Rich and velvety. Vegan, gluten-free.
  • Puttanesca: olives, capers, anchovies and plenty of garlic. Salty, punchy and great on pasta, swordfish or polenta. Contains fish.
  • Cacciatore: the hunter-style sauce, ready to braise chicken in or toss with a hearty pasta.
  • Sugo del Sole: a sunny, summer-style tomato sauce.
  • Funghi Primavera with Morels & Porcini: an earthy mushroom sauce built on morel and porcini mushrooms.
  • Sauce Valenciana: California tomatoes with saffron, smoked paprika and olive-oil-braised onions. Perfect with seafood, vegetables or chicken, and an easy shortcut to paella. Vegan.
