Konjac is a plant root that has been used in Asia for centuries as food and, more recently, as the softest natural cleansing sponge there is. Dry, it is hard. Soaked in warm water it swells into a soft, springy pad that lifts oil and dead skin with very light exfoliation, no scrubbing. It works with just water or with a small amount of cleanser, and because it is plant fiber it composts when it wears out. Seafoam Green is the plain konjac sponge, with no added clay or charcoal.

How to use

• Soak in warm water until soft, massage the face in circles, rinse
