Most "honey" lozenges contain a trace of honey and a lot of flavoring. These are built on certified MGO 250+ Manuka honey from New Zealand, the honey traditionally used for a scratchy throat, with cane sugar, glucose and 1% lemon oil. MGO is methylglyoxal, the compound that makes Manuka different from other honey; 250+ means at least 250 mg per kilogram. Let one dissolve slowly and it coats the throat the way a spoonful of honey does.
