Most liners are a plastic sheet with a synthetic top layer, held on with glue. Tampon Tribe builds theirs from GOTS-certified organic cotton: a cotton core and a woven organic cotton anti-leak, anti-pilling cover, with no fillers, no plastic and no super-absorbent polymers. The backing is plant-based, the wrap is potato-starch film, and there is no glue. That means no chlorine bleach, no fragrance and nothing synthetic against your skin, and the whole thing breaks down after use. Hypoallergenic, vegan and certified ICEA-sustainable, in FSC-certified packaging.
