A conventional tampon is usually rayon or a cotton-rayon blend, bleached, often with a plastic applicator and a synthetic veil. Tampon Tribe uses GOTS-certified organic cotton and nothing else: an organic cotton core, an organic cotton anti-leak and anti-pilling security veil, and a woven organic cotton string with no glue. No fillers, no covers, no super-absorbent polymers. The applicator is polished cardboard with a tapered tip and a lock, so it works like the plastic one you are used to. Vegan and certified ICEA-sustainable, in FSC-certified packaging.
