Sea moss is a red seaweed, also called Irish moss, that has been eaten in the Caribbean and Ireland for generations. Soaked and blended, it turns into a neutral gel that is naturally rich in minerals, including iodine, potassium, magnesium and calcium. On its own it doesn't taste like much, so Radical Jill's blends theirs with fruit and a little agave and it goes down easily. Made fresh with no preservatives, which is the point and also the constraint: keep it refrigerated and use it within a few weeks.

One honest note: sea moss is naturally very high in iodine, and iodine is one of the few nutrients where more is not better. Stick to the serving size on the jar, and if you have a thyroid condition or take thyroid medication, ask your doctor first.
