Avocado honey comes from the avocado bloom in Ventura County orchards, and it tastes nothing like the fruit. It is deep amber, thick, and rounds out like brown sugar or molasses with a buttery finish. Dark honeys carry more minerals and antioxidants than pale ones, and avocado is one of the darkest. It works as a straight substitute for molasses or brown sugar in a recipe, and it is very good on toast, in a smoothie or over vanilla ice cream.

Raw, unfiltered and never heated, so nothing is cooked out.
