About this product

Dark, robust and mineral-rich. The strongest honey on our shelf.

Buckwheat honey is nearly black, tastes of molasses and malt, and is the one people reach for when a cough will not quit. Dark honeys carry more minerals and antioxidants than light ones, and buckwheat is the darkest of the common varietals. It does not readily crystallize. Bill's bees gather it in Little Tujunga Canyon in the Angeles National Forest.

It is raw, unfiltered and never heated, so the pollen, enzymes and flavor that pasteurized supermarket honey loses are all still in the jar.
