A spicy shredded carrot and daikon relish that’s inspired by the Vietnamese pickles, Do Chua. Our sugar-free version includes sliced jalapenos and is fermented in a vegan kimchi probiotic brine to give it heat and tang! Perfect way to level up your banh mi sliders. Natural fermentation may continue during transit, which can cause pressure to build beneath the lid, occasional lid bulging, and some brine seepage. Upon receiving your shipment, please wipe down any affected jars, taking care not to break the safety seal, before shelving. While our products are shelf stable, we strongly recommend refrigerated displays to slow the fermentation process, and maintain the best possible flavor and texture for your customers. In some cases, kraut brine will leak onto packaging material and cause a strong, unpleasant scent. This does not compromise product integrity. Just wipe product down before shelving and discard all affected packaging. Please educate your customers that there may be pressure under the lid and to open jars slowly over a sink or bowl.
