About this product

One stainless strainer replaces every tea bag you would have thrown away.

Many paper tea bags are sealed with plastic, and the pyramid ones are often plastic outright. Loose-leaf tea in a metal strainer skips all of that, and it tastes better because the leaves have room to open up. This is a hinged mesh ball on a long handle. Fill it, close it, rest it in the cup and pull it out when the tea is where you like it. The fine mesh holds even small-cut leaves and rooibos.

Who this is for

  • You are switching from tea bags to loose leaf and need one simple tool
  • You drink herbal tea for the properties and want the full leaf, not dust
  • You make one cup at a time and do not want to dirty a teapot
  • You want something that goes in the dishwasher

How to use

  • Open the ball, add a teaspoon or two of leaves, close and steep
  • Rinse after each use. Hand wash or dishwasher
  • 7 inches long, 2 inch ball. Stainless steel
