About this product

A seven-ingredient lip balm built on grass-fed suet tallow, with real vanilla oleoresin as the only scent. Nothing filler.

Tallow is rendered beef suet, and grass-fed tallow is unusually close to human skin oil in its fatty acid makeup, which is why it absorbs into lips instead of coating them the way petroleum does. In this balm tallow makes up more than half the tube. Beeswax holds the barrier, castor oil gives it slip and shine, MCT oil and olive squalane keep it soft, vitamin E protects the oils, and a touch of vanilla oleoresin carries the scent. There is no fragrance oil and no flavoring.

Who this is for

  • You want a plain, dependable lip balm with an ingredient list you can read in one breath
  • Lips that react to flavored, mentholated or petroleum balms
  • You are cutting seed oils and synthetics from your personal care
  • You want a small, inexpensive tallow product to try before buying a jar of balm

How to use

Apply as often as you like. Keep it out of a hot car; tallow softens in heat.
