Tallow Simple — Vanilla Lotion

An everyday tallow body lotion in a pump bottle: light enough to absorb, rich enough to matter, with real vanilla as the only scent.

Most body lotion is water, a cheap emulsifier and fragrance. This one is water and grass-fed suet tallow, which carries the same fatty acids skin is built from and absorbs the way plant oils and petroleum do not. Olive squalane, one of the main components of the skin's own oil, does the rest of the moisturizing; coconut-derived glycerin pulls water into the skin; an olive-based emulsifier holds it together. It is preserved so it is safe in a pump bottle in a warm bathroom, and scented only with vanilla oleoresin.

How to use

Pump a small amount and smooth over clean skin, ideally while still slightly damp. Use as often as needed.
