Tori's Baked Goods — Mini Pesto & Mozzarella Sourdough

A mini sourdough loaf with pesto and mozzarella baked in. A meal on its own, or the best thing next to a bowl of soup.

Same naturally leavened dough as Tori's full-size sourdough: raised by a wild starter over a long, slow ferment, with no commercial yeast, no dough conditioners and no preservatives. That fermentation breaks down part of the flour before baking, which is why many people who feel heavy after regular bread do fine with a true sourdough. The pesto and mozzarella go in before the bake, so the cheese melts into the crumb and the basil flavors the whole loaf.

$8 each, or 2 for $12. Contains wheat and dairy; pesto may contain nuts. Best the day it arrives; warm in the oven for a few minutes to bring the cheese back.
