What we actually are

Three businesses sharing one roof at 429 McHenry Avenue in Modesto.

A farm store. Raw pasture-raised dairy, grass-fed and grass-finished meat, corn and soy free pasture-raised eggs, raw local honey. These are the hero items. They’re the reason people walk in, and they’re the ones we vet hardest.

A nontoxic general store. Bamboo paper goods, clean cleaning supplies, tallow and beeswax candles, and the daily essentials people restock every week. Unglamorous, held to exactly the same rule.

A local-maker marketplace. The woodworker down the road. Organic sourdough from a local baker. Seasonings milled nearby. Consignment goods that give the store a face and the county a storefront.

The thread tying all three together is trust. Every other clean-living store makes the customer do the homework. We do the homework for them, and we intend to earn the right to be the default.

The company

Frontier Organics Local Natural Provisions is owned and run from Modesto. Not a franchise, not a chain, not backed by anyone whose name you’d recognise. Just a store, held to a standard we wrote down and posted on the wall so we can be held to it.
