Adobe Mountain Natural Mineral Water — Still

Mineral water from a single pressure-fed spring in Del Puerto Canyon — Stanislaus County. Our county. The source sits on 217 protected acres in the Diablo Range, unreachable by vehicle, construction or agriculture, and has been licensed since 1992.

The water isn’t pumped. It rises under its own pressure through serpentinized mantle rock, and that rock is the whole story — it is where the magnesium comes from.

Why this water is different

Most bottled water is a marketing exercise with a mountain on the label. This one has a mineral analysis worth reading:

• ~100 mg/L magnesium — 35 mg in every 355 ml bottle. For scale, most premium mineral waters run 5 to 30 mg/L. This sits in the same tier as Gerolsteiner, and above nearly every American water on a shelf.
• Calcium-to-magnesium ratio of roughly 1:7 — unusual, and the reason it tastes the way it does rather than chalky.
• TDS around 400 mg/L — genuinely mineral, not the near-distilled water most brands sell.
• Naturally alkaline at pH 8.8 — from the rock, not from an ioniser or an added mineral blend.
• 2 mg sodium. Zero calories. Nothing added, nothing adjusted.

No blending, no switching between wells, no alternate supply when the season turns. One spring, every bottle, all year.

The medal

Adobe Mountain took a Silver Medal at the 2026 Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting — awarded for their sparkling. Berkeley Springs is the oldest and largest water tasting competition in the world and is judged blind; people in the trade call it the Academy Awards of water.

The bottle

355 ml glass with a resealable aluminium cap. Glass because it doesn’t leach and doesn’t hold flavour — if you are going to be particular about water, the container is not the place to stop caring. Full mineral analysis is printed on the label with a QR link to the lab report.
