Plant Patience
Corn Plant in Basket
$63.00
Broad, gently arching leaves striped down the center in lime and gold, growing from a thick woody cane — Dracaena fragrans, the corn plant, named for foliage that looks just like a cornstalk. A big, easy floor plant that has survived office lobbies for decades.
Light: Low to medium indirect. One of the few large plants genuinely happy away from a window.
Water: Every 10 to 14 days. Let the top half of the pot dry. Filtered water keeps the leaf tips from browning.
Grows: Tall and slow, on bare canes with a tuft of leaves up top.
Settled into a woven basket.
Toxic if chewed — keep away from pets and small children. Potted by Plant Patience in Oakdale, California.
- ✓ Cleared the Frontier Standard — no industrial seed oils, no refined sugar, no synthetic preservatives, dyes or “natural flavors.”
