Heritage breed. Pasture raised. Corn free and soy free. Raised on pasture and finished without a grain of corn or soy — which is rare in pork and is exactly why it tastes and renders the way it does. The fat is firm and clean, and the leaf fat renders into the best lard you will ever cook with.

Priced per pound of hanging weight. No two hogs weigh the same, so the figures below are estimates. You reserve with a 50% deposit and we invoice the balance on the actual hanging weight of your animal — the same way the ranch bills us.

Whole hog — $9.00 per pound hanging weight. Approximately 220 lb hanging, about $1,980 estimated. Deposit $990.

Half hog — $9.50 per pound hanging weight. Approximately 110 lb hanging, about $1,045 estimated. Deposit $522.50.

Cut to your list — chops, roasts, ribs, belly, ham, sausage grind and leaf fat. We will walk you through the cut sheet before anything goes to the butcher. Roughly a two week turnaround from the ranch.

Clear your freezer space before pickup: a half hog needs about 4 cubic feet, a whole hog about 8. Pickup at 429 McHenry Ave, Modesto, or local delivery within 5 miles. We do not ship frozen meat.
