Beef tallow has been used on skin for centuries because its fatty acid profile is close to the oils our skin makes for itself, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. It's naturally rich in the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K and in stearic and oleic acids that help skin hold moisture. A balm can be heavy; this is a lotion, lighter and easier to spread, for everyday use on hands, arms and legs. No synthetic fragrance, no petroleum, no seed-oil fillers.
