A glycerite is an herbal extract made with vegetable glycerin instead of alcohol. It's naturally sweet, gentle, safe for children, and it doesn't need refrigeration. This one is a slow, cold infusion of organic black elderberries (Sambucus nigra) in non-GMO vegetable glycerin at 1:2 strength. Cold infusion keeps the delicate compounds in the berry intact. Elderberries are rich in anthocyanins and have been used traditionally for immune support through cold season.
