Plant Patience

Rubber Plant (Ficus Elastica)

$32.00

Thick, glossy, almost leathery leaves on a strong upright trunk. A rubber plant reads as furniture more than houseplant — it fills a corner and anchors a room. Slow, steady, and far less dramatic than a fiddle leaf fig.

Light: Bright indirect. It will take a few hours of gentle direct sun.
Water: When the top two inches of soil dry out, roughly every 7–10 days. Wipe the leaves now and then to keep them shining.
Grows: Upright to several feet indoors.

The 'Moonshine' is the standout — silvery-green leaves instead of the usual deep burgundy, in a woven basket. One of a kind.

Note: the milky sap irritates skin and is toxic if chewed — keep away from pets and small children. Potted by Plant Patience in Oakdale, California.
