The toughest houseplant there is. Stiff, architectural leaves that stand straight up, need almost no light, and will forgive you for forgetting them for a month. If you travel, or you have one dark corner nothing will grow in, this is the plant.
Light: Anything. Bright window to a windowless bathroom.
Water: Every two to four weeks. Far more snake plants die from too much water than too little.
Grows: Slowly and upright — it holds its shape for years.
The 'Black Dragon' is the showpiece of the group: a rare, deep-toned specimen with dramatic wide leaves, and the only one of its kind we have.
