Also called inch plant or wandering dude — shimmering purple and silver striped leaves that trail fast and root from almost any cutting. If you've ever wanted a plant you can share with friends, this is it: snip a piece, put it in water, and it grows.
Light: Bright indirect. Good light is what keeps the purple deep; in dim spots it fades toward plain green and gets leggy.
Water: Keep lightly moist. It's thirstier than most trailing plants.
Grows: Very fast. Pinch it back often to keep it full rather than stringy.
