Agaricus blazei Murill, also known as Agaricus subrufescens, is a medicinal mushroom native to the Brazilian rainforest, where it is called Cogumelo do Sol, the "mushroom of the sun." It was later cultivated widely in Japan, where it is known as Himematsutake.
