Young Dutch-style farmstead cheese, handmade from raw milk twenty minutes up the road.

Farmstead means the cheese is made on the same farm where the cows are milked. Stuyt Dairy makes theirs the Dutch way, in the Gouda tradition, from raw cow's milk from their own herd, then ages it a minimum of sixty days. The Mild is aged two to four months: smooth, creamy, buttery and gentle, with a clean finish. Raw milk means the enzymes and cultures in the milk stay in the cheese, which is why a young raw Gouda tastes fuller than its age suggests.
